Home | Therapists

The Integrated care corporation was founded to provide services of outstanding quality.

Integrated care was founded on the principles of
Honesty - Integrity - Respect - Appreciation - Fun - Love - Learning - Understanding - Money
In a very large part, this is achieved through the AMAZING Therapists of which we are fortunate enough to work with. Integrated Therapists don't work for Integrated care. We work together, with one another, to help people.

Historically, The I. Care corp has hired on heart and experience. A happy Therapist is a more effective Therapist.

The children that Integrated Therapists help, have sometimes cried, screamed, hit, kicked, scratched, and drooled upon them. Integrated Therapists have had things thrown at them and dropped on their toes. Roaches have crawled on them. Dogs have scared them. Most parents appreciate them very much. Integrated Therapists have been smiled at, hugged, kissed, praised, thanked, and stood up for an appointment.

Integrated Therapists have made, and do make a life long difference by diminishing developmental delays.

If this sounds like fun to you, please contact lance, President and Chairman of the Board, for an informal and sincere conversation.

Amanda Reagle, LSW

I received my bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Montana and received my master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh with a specialization in Direct Practice/ Mental Health. I am also a Licensed Social Worker for the state of Pennsylvania. I have extensive additional training in a variety of areas including Autism, Applied Behavior Analysis, Relationship Building, Trauma, and Foster Care, and I continue to seek out the most up-to-date practices, techniques, and trainings.
I have been working as a social worker for 14 years. I have enjoyed working with families and children of all ages. For the past 6 years I have worked with families that have children in the birth-to-three age group through early intervention. I believe in the importance of early intervention whole-heartedly and have seen the way it can change the lives of very special children and their extraordinary families. There is no greater joy than knowing I have played a role in a family’s exceptional story. I am new to Integrated Care and can already attest to the agencies dedication to providing families with outstanding service. I am delighted to be a part of it.

Amy Ellis, OTR

Perspective
This is directed to The Integrated Care Corporation and all of its employees. Though I am a new employee of the company I am impressed with the honesty, support and straightforwardness of the compnay. Keep up the good work and I look forward to working with this company in the future.

Amy Shambaugh, Dev Spec

Perspective
I really like working at integrated because the families/children truly come first. The goals and schedules revolve around the child's/family's needs. I also really enjoy the flexibility built into this type of work. The flexibility allows both the families and therapists to easily adjust and meet the individual and sometimes unexpected needs of their families.

Angela Ball

My name is Angela Ball and I'm an Occupational Therapist. I have been working in Early Intervention since May 2000. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. I also have achieved advanced certifications in the field of pediatrics. I am certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test and I have completed advanced pediatric NDT-training (Neuro-developmental Treatment techniques to improve movement in children with neurological impairments). I am also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. I have participated in numerous trainings on sensory- processing, feeding and movement disorders and I continue to participate in education trainings which help me stay current with new techniques and skills. I love to work with the families in Early Intervention and teach them techniques that will help their child develop to their full potential. I believe providing therapy to a child during their first three years, at a time of such rapid growth and development, makes a huge impact on the rest of their life. To watch each child grow and make progress through Early Intervention has been the most rewarding part of my job and I feel very fortunate to have been a part of the lives of so many wonderful families!

Bill Gayton - T V I

Perspective
Integrated care is the realist provider in Early Intervention. Lance keeps it real.

Angela Wells, MA, MS, CCC/SLP

Perspective
I am a happily employed therapist at Integrated Care. Why, you may ask? I work for a company that has priorities. I feel that their first priority is that of the families we service. How is it so, you may ask? Most importantly they rejoice with me when I am able to discharge a child secondary to improvement! Need I say more? What is their second priority, you may ask? It is towards their employees! They provide me with an independent flexible working environment where I can make my own schedule and help in the decision making of where I am willing to travel!! They acknowledge that I am a professional and allow me the opportunity to independently perform my job duties as I have been trained to do

Brenda Coxe, Dev. Spec. ( Coxe Group Daycare ) Ford City

Hi, my name is Brenda Coxe. I currently reside in Ford City and am a proud mom, grandma, childcare provider and special instructor. I love children. There is no greater joy than seeing a childs expression when they accomplish something on their own for the first time and knowing I had a part in guiding them to that moment. I love working for Integrated Care. The people I work with all have a commo n goal: To help children reach their highest potential. I feel as though each family I work with is part of my family. I share in their truimphs, their disappointments, their sadness when it's time to end services. While I miss each and every child when my time with them is finished, I am also proud of the fact that I was able to influence their lives in some way. This influence will be there long after Brenda Coxe is gone.

Perspective
As a child daycare provider for 14 years, I have had many children enter my home and heart over the years. While this had been very rewarding, I wanted to be more involved, something I was able to accomplish by joining Integrated Care Corp. I am proud to be part of a team that puts the child first and works together to help a child develop to his/her full potential. After all, aren't the children of today the adults of tommorrow?

Brian Garcher, PT

Perspective
In two sentences;
1) I enjoy meeting and getting to know people especially that they come from different walks in life and all have something different to offer and the families are great to work with especially that they take what we have to offer seriously because it will affect the lives of their child.
2) I have come to the realization that at some point in the future many things that we have done will have been forgotten but the one thing that will always stay is the lasting impact we have made on a child's life even if it is one child it is one child who will take the help that we gave them either by physical, occupational or speech and use it to build on be the person that they will be someday.

Carrie Smith, SLP

Perspective
I like working within the Integrated structure because everyone that works here has one common goal and that is to help people. I also like working here because of the strong support system and positive feedback which makes me feel great about the job i do.

Christine Braho, SLP

Perspective
The staff of Integrated Care are very diligent at doing the background tasks for the necessary paperwork. That leaves me with more time and energy to meet the needs of the children I am serving. That's a win-win situation for the children and me.

Colleen Gatto, SLP

Perspective
I enjoy working for Integrated Care because I love working closely with families in their homes to help children learn to communicate the best way that they can. I have learned so much from working and interacting with all of the families that I have had the pleasure to help.

Dana Melroy, BA

Currently I am a Preschool Teacher and a Developmental Specialist. I am a wife and mother of two teenagers at home. I have a Bachelors of Science from University of Nebraska in child development and a Pre-K Certification in West Virginia. My experience working with young children includes providing child care for 7 years (earning a Mark of Excellence), taught Pre-School for 3 years, substitute teaching for 2 years and now Early Intervention with birth to three. I’ve always enjoyed the enthusiasm and energy of young children. I believe that every child is special and should have the opportunity to become the best they can be. I love to challenge a child on a level that requires growth and develop not frustration and failure. What do I want from parents in the program? To be true partners in their child’s early education. Parents know their children and therapist are full of ideas, when we come together and share each others strengths the child grows.

Perspective
Having the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life is such a privilege. I cant say enough about the support i get from the staff of Integrated care and the families i am honored to work with.

Heather Frech, BA

Perspective
When asked what I like about working for Integrated Care, the first thing to come to my mind is the children. But then I realize that I don't work for Integrated Care, I work with the Integrated Care family. Words can not describe how I feel about being a Developmental Specialist for Integrated Care....
I LOVE WHAT I DO!!!!!!!

Jean Riddle

I graduated from Physical Therapy school in 1970 and became certified in the Neurodevelopmental Treatment technique in pediatrics as well as earned my certification in the NDT Advanced Baby course. I have experience in outpatient adult rehabilitation, inpatient and outpatient center based pediatric rehabilitation, adult home care and 25 years in the early intervention system. I was involved in a pilot study for transdisciplinary treatment for 2 years where one therapist addresses all areas of development as they treat the child, using the other therapist occasionally for consultations to assure the child's treatment program is appropriate. I also was on the initial evaluation team for 5 years, have presented several inservices to coworkers and annually participate in trainings/seminars as well as continue professional readings. I especially enjoy the birth to 3 year old population. Being able to see the child in home or with other caregivers and teach the parents/caregivers how to help the child brings such joy to the families it makes my job very enjoyable. Also to see a child become proud ofthemselves and gain confidence because they have learned to do an activity/task independently is great.
I have been married for 37 years, have 2 grown sons, 2 daughter in-laws and a granddaughter. I enjoy spending time with family, sports, gardening, sewing, quilting, traveling and being outside.

Julie Kozora, LPT

Hi, I'm Julie Kozora. I am a pediatric physical therapist and have been working in this field for the last eleven years. I love kids! That is the reason I decided to get my masters degree in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and specialize in pediatrics. I love early intervention, too. I really enjoy getting to know the families I work with and consider it a privilege to go into their homes and help their child. Often, these families become like family to me. I hope you'll choose Integrated Care as your provider and I hope to meet your family soon.

Perspective
My two sentences...
Working as a physical therapist in early intervention and more specifically for Integrated Care has been the perfect fit for me. Not only do I love working with kids and their families directly in their homes and seeing the impact of what I do on their daily lives, but I also love the flexibility of scheduling. With one child in school, I can schedule my visits around his school activities and not feel like I am missing out on important events in his life!

Lisa Symons, OTR

My name is Lisa Symons and I am a pediatric occupational therapist. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996 with a degree in OT. I have been specializing in working with children for the past 12 years. I began my career at The Watson Institute, a private school for children with disabilities. I worked at Watson for ten years. During my last year at Watson, I decided it was time to expand my career. I made the decision to try some work in early intervention. I began working for Integrated Care in 2005 and have been there for the past four years. Integrated has provided me with the opportunity to work with wonderful people and is truly committed to providing families with the best possible care. As an OT, I enjoy working closely with children and their families, to help them improve daily skills and provide them with the ability to be as successful as possible for years to come. I have two children of my own and have found early intervention allows me to have the best of both worlds. I am able to spend time with my own children while helping other children. I can honestly say I love my job and working for Integrated Care.

Perspective
Working within Integrated has provided me with the opportunity not only to work in early intervention but also to be part of a wonderful group of people. Integrated is committed to provide the best service possible to children and their families and they truly appreciate and support their staff.

Marcy Burke

My name is Marcy Burke and I've been a physical therapist for over 30 years. I've worked with all age groups and in a variety of settings. I’ve worked primarily with infants and toddlers in their homes for the past ten years. When asked what kind of work I do, I always tell people that I have the best job in the world because I get to work with babies every day! I love working with families, teaching them what to do to help in their child’s development. And when the child learns to sit, crawl and then walk we all rejoice in their accomplishments together. The Integrated Care Corporation is dedicated to the families they serve. Having their support and appreciation enables me to be the best physical therapist I can be.

Working at Integrated in a fiscal capacity for going on ten years has truly been a work-place experience like none other! The true compassion expressed on a daily basis toward client, staff, vendor and anyone lucky enough to enter our doors, is without comparison in any other work environment that I have been involved with for over 30 years. The fairness and flexibility has produced a productive, yet comfortable, company to be with. Thanks to Lance.

Perspective
When I started working with Early Intervention I did so on a very part time basis as I was unsure if I wanted to devote all of my time to this population of client. Within 3 months of starting with Integrated Care not only did I realize I was working with the best people, I was working with the exact client I was meant to. I love this population. It is such a joy to watch a child repeat their first word, or expand their vocabulary to such a point that the parent is now asking if there is maybe a 'shut off button' that I installed when I 'turned them on'. Helping parents cope with the difficulties some of them face with their children, watching the joy on their faces when progress is made (and progress is almost always made, sometimes more dramatic and extensive than others, but when it's your child it's always dramatic!) is something that keeps me going and energizes me daily. Every week something happens that takes it's place in my memory forever, and although it's difficult to say goodbye to a family when their child turns three, I'll have those memories forever!

Rosemary Thomas, SLP

Rosemary Thomas joined Integrated Care in 1999 after 35 years as a speech therapist in the pubic school setting. "I really enjoy working in the home," "The families are so cooperative, and the children progress quickly because their moms and dads are using my suggestions thoughout the daily routine." Rosemary gratuated from Slippery Rock University and earned her Master's Degree from Clarion.

Perspective
Working for Integrated Care has been a very positive experience. Everyone here puts the needs of children and their families first!
Integrated Care is TOP NOTCH! Management does what it takes so that staff is able to respond to the needs our children and their families.

Ryta Peace

I have worked for over 30 years as a speech and language therapists for several agencies in Allegheny, Armstrong and Indiana counties. I have had the pleasure of working with individuals from the ages of 3 to adults in Residential Settings. I feel I have been blessed to be able to provide a service to individuals and families that has demonstrated over the years to be a powerful impact on their daily lives by assisting clients in developing a system of communication. I joined the I Care Team because of the flexibility they promote in scheduling, since I would enjoy part time work at this point in my career. I also was impressed with the sincere dedication this agency practices in servicing clients and their families that is often not the case with other employers. I am excited to be able to continue performing the job that I love in such a strong system of support to everyone involved in the Integrated Care agency.

Sheryl Saunders, SLP

Hi! I'm Sheryl Saunders, a speech language pathologist working together with Integrated care to provide caring, patient and quality help for your family so that you can learn ways to foster your child;s ability to communicate with others. As a speech therapist I will provide your family with helpful information and will demonstrate ways to show your child how to communicate his/her wants and needs through fun play activities, your child won't even realize he/she is actually learning speech and language skills!! I am always open to any suggestions, questions, you or your family may have. I look forward to working with you and your child in the near future.

Perspective
Why I like working for Integrated:
Lance is always willing to answer any questions and provide helpful advice when needed. It is rewarding to help young children learn and grow to become the best they can be. I feel that Integrated really does care for the children and their families. Our work with the families and children is greatly appreciated by The Integrated Care Corp.

Tanya Wood, M EC

My name is Tanya Wood and I am a developmentalist for Integrated Care. Since graduating from West Liberty State College with a double major in elementary education and special education I have been working with children as a teacher, tutor, and developmental therapist. Upon graduating I went to work for the Watson Institute as a teacher. When my first child was born in 1999 I left the Watson Institute to be a stay at home mom. To stay connected with children I began tutoring. I had my second child in 2004. When she turned 18 months old I began looking at different job opportunities that would provided me with flexibility to work with children and raise my own. It is coming up on three years that I have been with Integrated Care. I love that this jobs allows me to be involved in my children’s activities as well as fulfill my passion of working with children.

Toni Contestabile

I have always had an interest in special education, but found that I particularly enjoy working with very young children with special needs. I work as a developmental therapist for selfish reasons, as I receive much more from these children and their families, than I could ever even hope to give them. On a personal note, I have three dogs and a cat, love the Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Pittsburgh Penquins.
Penn State University: PSYBA
University of Pittsburgh: M.Ed Early Intervention, M/PD Special Education, PA Certified Special Education ages K-21

Perspective
I am a new employee at Integrated Care; however, in my short time there I have learned that the children and families are top priority. I enjoy working for a provider that places the needs of the children and families, before generating income. I was even encouraged to purchase Christmas gifts for my clients (if I wanted too), which is something that I was forbidden to do with other agencies. It is refreshing to work for an agency that strives to foster a positive relationship between therapist and their clients.

Our Perspective

I like helping people, especially the little people. Integrated is all about it and I fit in perfectly. I fall asleep at night with a smile on my face because of what I do. If there is a better job in the world other than helping children, I'm not aware of it. I don't think it exists.
James E. Queer Jr. - Therapist Coordinator

I like working with Integrated care because we help people. We cant help everyone, just the people that ask for help. To me, there is no real greater joy, than to have a significant and positive affect in the life of someone else. The Staff of Integrated are top notch in their sincere caring, and experience in their chosen field of expertise. I work with real smart people, and like to make things as easy as possible for service delivery, for all concerned. These are some reasons i like being the administratively humble Boss.

Early Intervention Is Great. Quality of Life Expands.
